Kitchen Cleaning Process

When it comes to the kitchen, we always clean top to bottom, back to front.

We’ll go in the kitchen start at the top. We clean out the inside of the joinery but we actually clean the top, both the sides, the back and the shelf of the joinery. Moving down to the next shelf, the bottom, the back, the sides and then the floor of it.

So every single element is clean. Sometimes they will be full of shavings and all sorts of bits and pieces that are left over from putting the covers together. We even squirt into the into the corners of the very bottom of the joinery to get rid of that fine little piece of dirt that you can see us as a little dark blemish in the corner.

Those are little kind of elements that some people will miss but we always pick up.

As we move through the joinery of the kitchen, working from the top to the bottom, we get down to the bench top. We actually get down on bench level and clean all the surfaces, whether it be removing the stickers and the texture marks or anything left on any of the surfaces from trades.

The whole way through we never put any of our tools or chemicals on bench tops simply because if we always follow our own rule, we then know that we have never damaged any bench tops.

We often go into houses where there will be tools and drills all over them and our staff will even get stuck into the trades as well about tidying their things up. The last thing you want to do is have to go and replace a stone bench top the day before handover.

We use our sense of feel and run our hands over the top of the bench tops, around the corner, anywhere there has been silicon and make sure that the lip of the silicon does actually line up with the bench top. We carry a razor blade with us and we’ll cut the silicon back and then use an  item called a magic block which actually removes that fine layer of silicon so you’ll see the kitchen sink or the wall line up perfectly with where the silicon stops

We make sure the kitchen is perfect because that’s the masterpiece of any house.
